He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry and Mary Nancy Thompson (Snider); his wife Liz Thompson; and his children, Cara Thompson, Randy Thompson and Kim Siebenmorgen.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Elizabeth 'Liz' Thompson (Harroll); his children-in-law, Susan Marie Hahn-Thompson and Todd Siebenmorgen; his grandsons, Daniel Bredeweg of California, Rob Siebenmorgen (Mary) of Mooreville and Tom Siebenmorgen (Taylor) of Mooreville; his great grandchild Elaina Nicole; and his brother Guy Ray Thompson (Suzi) of Phoenix, AZ..
