He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Smith and Barbara R. Smith (Roby). He is survived by: his wife Penny Smith (Booker) of Linton; his daughter Jennifer Stewart (Nick) of Linton; his grandchildren, Emma Mifflin, Jailynn Stewart and Jaxson Stewart; his stepchildren, Travis McKinney (Michelle) and Courtney Beel (Jesse); his stepgrandchildren, Sydney McKinney, Chloe Harrell, Hannah McKinney, Haley McKinney, Madilyn McKinney and Dalton McKinney; and his sister Susan Cassady (Charles) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
