She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick L. Carr and Evelyn Mae Carr (Cummings); her brother Carl Bud Carr; her grandchildren, Jessica Pate, Jonathan Pate and Kyle May; and her stepson Christopher King.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Gene" King; her children, Gypse Lee Thompson, Joey D. Thompson and Jeania K. Thompson; her grandchildren, Jeania Whaley and Steve Thompson; her great grandchildren, Taylar, Gabriel, Eric and Sebestian; her stepson Steven King; her stepgrandchildren, Zach, Seth, Ben, Corbin and Camie; and also Julietta.
