He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Uland Jackson and Iona Jackson (Spoonmore); and his half-brother Larry Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Hastings (Carm) of American Fork, Utah, Kim Barnes (Tim) of Worthington, Tanya Brewer (Eric) of Linton and Jana Carr (Chris) of Linton; his grandchildren, Shawn Hastings, Amanda Hastings, Joelle Green, Megan Smithhart, Courtney Milligan, Jace Brewer, Zachary Waggoner, Madison Waggoner, Emma Carr and Lily Carr; and his brothers, Garry Jackson and Alan Jackson. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home (140 E Vincennes St, Linton, IN 47441).
