She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Carpenter and Cayula Carpenter (Stark); her husband Charles A. Welch; her siblings, Ron Carpenter, Paul Carpenter, Irvin Thomas Jr. Carpenter and Mary Ellen Bruner; and her great grandchild Lillian Annabelle Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Charles T. Welch (Shanna Hogg) of Oaktown, Rebecca S. McCoy (Tom) of Illinois and Carol Ann Martindale (Troy) of Hymera; her grandchildren, Brad, Ashlie, Chasity, Angela, Cyndy, Kassie and Branden; and her siblings, Loren "Pete" Thomas Carpenter and Adah Glenn. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
With covid levels rising, private visitation and services will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
