It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip R. Herndon of Linton, Indiana, who passed away on August 18, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Herndon and Mary Herndon (Lehman); his grandson J. P. Alexander; his son-in-law Jack Alexander; and his brother Donnie Herndon.
He is survived by: his children, Lana Lee Alexander of Sullivan and Greg Herndon (Becky) of Lyons; his granddaughter Mandy Wall (Matthew) of Coal City; his great grandchildren, Levi and John; and his siblings, Bill "Doc" Herndon (Susan) and Naoma Cooper. He is also survived by his wife of 67 years whom he married.
