Max Slough Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Max Slough of Linton, Indiana, born in Coal City, Indiana, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Madison Slough and Ada Ethel Slough (Dyar); his daughter Alberta L. Clements; and his siblings, Frank, Von Slough, Fern Bucklew, Carrie Haviland, Louise Smith and Mary Soeffing.

He is survived by: his wife Coleta Joana "Katie" Slough; his son-in-law George Clements (Marcia) of Random Lake, WI; his son Rick E. Slough (Nancy) of Worthington; and his grandchildren, Jamie Slough, Mark Clements, Angie Schmidt, Heather Lomis and Jamie Mobley. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Linton First United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
