It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Oleva Tharp of Linton, Indiana, born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Adams and Barbara Adams (Crawford); her husband Dale Dean Tharp; and her siblings, Christopher Adams, Henry Adams, Francis Adams, Harold Adams, Frances Vermere, Clara Valeno, Virginia Conard, Hazel Hall, George Adams, Ruth Harbert and Thelma McCorgary.
She is survived by: her children, John David Tharp (Gay), Roger Dale Tharp (Liz), Patti Lynn Hays (Jim) and Kenneth Ross Tharp (Lori); her grandchildren, Shane Tharp, Ashley Claunch (Darryl), John Matthew Tharp, Katelin Murphy (Dave), Logan Tharp (Samantha), Jordan Tharp (Elyse), Jessica Gooding (Jordan), Matthew Tharp and Shay Martin; and her sister Dorothy "Dot" Rainwater. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
