Karen L. McCombs Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen L. McCombs of Linton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. West and Dorothy Ann West (Sharp); her husband Raymond McCombs; and her siblings, Jack Maynard West, John M.'Jim'West, Milton B.'Bud'West, David L. West, Sally Skidmore and Suzanne Oliver.

She is survived by: her children, Randy McCombs (Marsha) of Linton, Pamela Ingram (Chuck) of Bloomfield, Beth Dillman (David) of Spencer, Sara Schantz (Michael) of Lyons, Sandra Miller of Worthington and Laura Daywalt (Brad) of Evansville; and her grandchildren, Tanner Buskirk (Branda), Amber Cates (Josh), Madison Daywalt, Samuel Daywalt, Lydia Hamilton (Andrew), Lauren Hoffman (Ralph), Shea Buskirk Imhausen, Angela James (Tony), Autumn McCombs, Aubree Miller, Braden Mishler, Bryce Schantz, Andrea Sluder (Jon) and Paige Tegos (Sylvester). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Poindexter Chapel (89 NW C St, Linton, IN 47441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
