We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2022, at the age of 68, Karen D. Wathen of Linton, Indiana, born in Shelbyville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Francis and Patsy Ruth Francis (Bowman). She is survived by: her husband Michael J. Wathen; her sons, Christopher M. Wathen of Linton and Dr. David A. Wathen (Stephanie) of Freeburg, IL; her grandchildren, Owen, Jerek, Jackson, Jacie, Bennett and Mabel Wathen; and her siblings, Kevin Francis (Debbie), Kathryn Matthews (John), Amy Foglesong (Kent) and Krista Boucher.

Memorial contributions may be made to Linton Food Pantry, through the funeral home.
