He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sachtjen and Susan Alice Sachtjen (Gibbs); and his sister Sharon Sachtjen. He is survived by: his son Dylan Sachtjen; his brothers, Gordon Sachtjen (Jeanette) and Bud Sachtjen (Julie Shaffer); his nieces and nephews, Linda, Christopher, Sofia, Dacia, John and Tietje; his great-nieces, Genevieve and Isabel; and his great-nephew Raven.
