He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Hart and Ruth Hart (Shonk); and his wife Janet. He is survived by: his children, Julie Hoffman (Matt) and Joseph Hart (Brooke); his grandchildren, Jenafer Burns (Nathan), Jayme Hamilton (Grant), Jeri Hoffman, Mattyson Hoffman, Joey Hart, Ryllee Hart, Jack Hart and Toby Hart; and his great grandchild Sophie Burns.

In Lieu of flowers the family wishes any memorial donations be made to the Joseph Hart Memorial Scholarship Fund.
