He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Evans and Norma Evans (Pershing); his daughter Tammy Evans; and his siblings, Thora Boright, Jerry Boright, Harry Boright and Joseph Boright.
He is survived by: his brother Kurt D. Evans (Tracy) of Jasonville; his stepsons, Scott Lower (Amanda) of Linton and Steven Lower (Ashley) of Linton; his grandchildren, Brianna Lower, Maggie Lower, Sophie Lower, Baya Lower and Josh Lower; and his siblings, Barb Holmgren (Boright) and Ernest Boright (Elizabeth "Libby" Dayhoff).
