He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin and Virginia Taylor (Sharp); his daughter Melissa Gardner; and his siblings, Willis H. Taylor and Josephine Stefancik.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Taylor (Wools); his daughter Angie York (Tim) of Lyons; his grandchildren, James Gardner (Kayla), Justine Gardner, Kole Gardner, Tyler York (Adrian) and Dalton York; his great grandchildren, Keaton and Violet; and his brother Albert Taylor (Mayme) of Linton.
