He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Cary, Sr. and Ruth A. Cramer (Laue); his close friend Rita Bowersock; and his stepfather Floyd L. Cramer. He is survived by: his daughter Jodi Cary of Alpharetta, GA; his siblings, John Cary (Betty Mayes) of Linton, Joe Cary (Janice) of Vincennes, Jeff Cary (Tina) of Cross City, FL and Jean Watson (Jack) of Springfield, GA; his stepmother Maxine Cary of Linton; his stepchildren, Dawn Bowersock-Weddle (Garry) of Linton and Michael Bowersock; and his stepsiblings, Floyd A. Cramer (Sherri) of Jasonville, David J. Cramer (Kim) of Linton, Jack Thompson of Altoona, PA and Rosie Jones of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
