He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Shonk and Hettie Shonk (Spice); his former wife Juanita Ruth Shonk (Perigo); his brother Rex Shonk; and his granddaughter Debbie Bievenour.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Shonk (Lucas) of Linton; his children, Randy Shonk (Brenda) of Linton, Sherrell Shonk of Linton, Danny Shonk (Debbie) of Boggstown and Sue Davidson (Chuck) of Linton; and his grandchildren, Timothy Shonk (Lynn) and Sheri Shonk. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
