She was predeceased by: her parents, Vairon Cassell and Nora Cassell (Clark); her husband Oscar Leon Sanders; her siblings, Dorothy, Mildred, Loretta and Bill; and her son-in-law Steve Posey.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Creech (Steve) of Bloomington, Tom Sanders (Ellen) of Bloomington, Carol Posey of Terre Haute, Bill Sanders (Ellen) of Linton and Randy Sanders (Frankie) of Brownsburg; her grandchildren, Wendi Goodlett, Christin Schippnick (Rob), Garrett Sanders, Nick Posey, Jared Sanders, Erin Sanders, Alexis Fulk (Keith), Randi Farris (Steve) and Tate Sanders (Alyssa); and her great grandchildren, Baileigh Goodlett, Sydne Goodlett, Stevie Farris, Charleigh Farris, Pierce Sanders, Ashlin Schippnick, Tyler Schippnick and Landon Schippnick.
