With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel L. Eccles of Linton, Indiana, born in Howesville, Indiana, who passed away on November 1, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Eccles and Thelma E. Eccles (Drake); and his siblings, Bobby Eccles, Larry Eccles and Florence Evelyn Eccles.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona M. Eccles (Rankin); his children, Daniel O. Eccles of Linton, Sandy Woods (Ed) of Linton and Sherry Wikle (Robin) of Bloomfield; and his stepchildren, Rodney Porter of New Mexico and Anita Kuhn of Florida. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 38th Division Association, through the funeral home.
