She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Andrew and Dorothy Harvanek (Kruger); and her brother David Grady. She is survived by: her husband Joseph A. Heater; her sons, Andy Heater of Minneapolis, MN and Garth Heater (Megan) of Indianapolis; her mother-in-law Lois Heater; and her sisters, Heidi Jackson of Yardley, PA and Kathy Berlan.
To emphasize the importance of organ and tissue donation, Paula - herself - wanted to be a donor.
