He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Jones and Susanna Jones (Beachy); his former wife Frances Mabie; his children, Jackie and Glen; his siblings, Marylou Miller, Betty Jacobs and Alvin Jones; and his stepdaughter Kimberly Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith of Ligonier; his children, Robert Jones (Sonya) of Wisconsin and Teresa Fleck (Donn) of Millersburg; and his stepdaughters, Christine Jones (Ron) of Albion, Teresa Jones of Albion and Tammy Wiseman (Ed) of Kendallville. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
