He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Pfenning and Lucy Pfenning (Smith); his grandson Andrew Pfenning; and his great grandchild Carter Tiedeman. He is survived by: his wife Annette Pfenning of Ligonier; his children, Teresa Hull (Bill) of Ligonier, Gregory L. Pfenning (Deleticia D.) of Ligonier and Mark Pfenning (Lisa) of Ligonier; and his grandchildren, Chris Tiedeman (Emily), Stephanie Tiedeman, Joshua Tiedeman (Cassi), Patti Michael, Josiah Pfenning (Abbey), Jonathan Pfenning (Shonda), Hannah Pfenning, Zoe Pfenning, Zachariah Pfenning, Zebidiah Pfenning and Zephira Pfenning. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
