With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Gangwer of Ligonier, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hawkins and Lillian Hawkins (Apel); her husband Merritt D. Gangwer; her daughter Linda Strong; and her siblings, Jimmy and Thora.
She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Pippenger of Elkhart, IN; her grandchildren, Dave Schmidt, Terrel, Troy, Tracy Pippenger, Spenser Strong (Natasha Smith) of Cromwell, IN and Veronica Strong of Ligonier, IN; her great grandchildren, Wesley Strong of Cromwell, IN, Jaylyn Coy and Xavia Strong of Ligonier, IN; her grandchildren, Nova Strong of Ligonier, Gatlin Strong of Ligonier and Treyton Strong of Ligonier; and her brother Tom Hawkins (Pat) of Garrett, Indiana..
