He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Louis, Mary Hauguel and Clementine Ruszkowski; and his aunt Angela Moskwinski. He is survived by: his parents, Louis F. Hauguel and Maryann Hauguel (Ruszkowski) of Ocala, Florida; his wife Lisa Hauguel of Ligonier, Indiana; his son Anthony Hauguel of Lafayette, Indiana; and his sister Monica Wheaton (John) of Hondo.
