He is survived by: his wife Evarista Salinas of Ligonier; his children, Angelina Salinas, Elvia Puente (Wilibaldo), Raul Salinas (Rosalina), Ismael Salinas (Victoria), Imelda Herrera (Alejandro) and Maribel Mendez (Carlos); and his sisters, Maria Salinas and Gilberta Salinas. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; a great-grandson.
