She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Bredemeyer and Hermina Bredemeyer (Kruger); her husband Paul Gerke; and her brothers, Fred and William Bredemeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Ober (Mark) of Syracuse, IN, Lori Wilkins (Scott) of Alexandria, VA, Tracey Noe (Mike) of Syracuse, IN and David Gerke (Candace) of Middlebury, IN; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Ober, Megan Watson (Cary), Ashley Garrison (Seth), Whitney Dixon (Chris), Andrea Gerke, Dirk Wilkins and Nicholas Noe (Paige); and her sister Donna Manning of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
