He was predeceased by: his parents, David D. Fry and Ola Fry (Bontrager); his former wives, Edna Violetta Garver and Mary Pauline Miller; his spouse Lydian A. Mast; his grandson Kevin Yoder; his brother David Fry; and his stepson-in-law Amos LaVern Bontrager.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Lee Fry (Ruby) of Topeka, Marlin Dale Fry (Mary Kay) of Ligonier, Mervin H. Fry (Mary Jane) of Millersburg, Karen Kay Lambright (David H.) of Topeka and Lydia Sue Yoder (Vernon A.) of Topeka; his stepchildren, Irvin G. Bontrager (Ruby Fern) of Syracuse, Perry G. Bontrager (Doris) of Florida, Ernest G. Bontrager (Elsa Mae) of Topeka, Daniel G. Bontrager (Alice Marie) of Shipshewana, Levi G. Bontrager of Florida, William G. Bontrager of Middlebury, Amanda G. Slabaugh (Amos Eugene) of New Paris and Millie G. Bontrager of Goshen; his siblings, Glen Fry of Topeka, Vern Fry of Topeka, Paul Fry (Elsie) of Topeka, Jacob Fry (Susie) of Topeka, Ira Fry (Alma) of Middlebury, Danny Fry of Gary, Ada Lambright of Topeka, Ida Miller (Jonas) of Topeka and Iva Yoder (Alton) of Goshen; and his sister-in-law Mattie Fry. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 35 step-grandchildren, 86 step great-grandchildren, one step great-great-grandchild.
