She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Baker and Helen Baker (Ponko); her husband Max L. McFarren; her daughter Stephanie McFarren; and her siblings, Denise Galloway (Lowell) and Donald "Whitey" Gillespie.
She is survived by: her children, Deena Rupert (Greg) of Albion, Michele Ritchie (Tom) of Ligonier and Lance McFarren (Betts) of Ligonier; her grandchildren, Jamie Rupert of Albion, Kendal Rupert of Albion, Tommy Ritchie (Dawn) of Ligonier, Kelly Cole (Aaron) of Middlebury, Tracy Mullins (Chris) of Kendallville, Abby Reed (Andy) of Goshen, Brooke Stauffer of Syracuse, Mallory Berkey (Andrew) of Shipshewana, Morgan Stout (Trenton) of Shipshewana and Riley; and her stepgrandchildren, Brad Rupert (Kim) of North Liberty and Deana Sutherland (Joe) of South Bend. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
