He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa "Ray" and Wilda Halsey (Gonser). He is survived by: his former wife Ruthann Parker; his wife Ruthann Halsey of Ligonier, IN; his children, Mindy Kurtz (Brad) of Corunna, IN and Tim Halsey of Ligonier, IN; his grandsons, Alex Kurtz, Jacob Kurtz, Caleb Kurtz and Ethan Kurtz; and his siblings, Mary Weick of Fort Wayne, IN and Brian Halsey of Ypsilanti, MI..
