Betty Jane Tuvell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Tuvell of Ligonier, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jane Tuvell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Rex and Treva Rex (Marshall); her husband James E. Tuvell; her son Johnny Wesley Tuvell; her siblings, Mary Lou Rex Poyser and James LeRoy Rex; her son-in-law Mark A. Hauguel; her aunt Orpha Deter of Goshen; and her grandmother Corabelle Marshall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Tuvell-Thies (Rich) of Zionsville and Lisa Tuvell-Hauguel of Ligonier; her grandson Jared Rex Thies (Hannah Crail) of Louisville, Kentucky; her sister-in-law Patricia Rex of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her nephews, Troy Rex and Todd Rex; and her in-laws, Brenda, Edd Gaerte, Dennis Tuvell and Dolph Tuvell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Yeager Funeral Home (1589 Lincolnway S, Ligonier, IN 46767). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
