He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Baer and Trella M. Baer (Workman); his son Ed Baer; his great grandchild Chuck Baer; and his siblings, Mary Detweiler, Elizabeth Garner, Isabelle Larrabe, Charles, Ora "Dan", Floyd, Paul and Owen Baer.
He is survived by: his sons, Chuck Baer (Frances) of Middlebury and Art Baer, Jr. (Ronda). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
