He was predeceased by: his parents, Sotero Plata and Natalia Flores. He is survived by: his wife Margarita Corinas; his children, Arnoldo Plata (Miriam) of Albion, Yolanda Porter (Eric) of Avilla and Josefina Garcia (Efrain) of Ligonier; and his siblings, Homero (FredesLinda) of Texas, Mario Plata (Maricruz) of Texas, Enriqueta Arias of Mexico, Ofelia Martinez of Mexico, Irma Macias (Jose) and Gloria Bocardo of Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
