With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Wayne Harlan (Liberty, Indiana), born in Marion, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2024 at the age of 69. Though Stephen Wayne has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Crystal Gerber of Liberty; and his sisters, Karon Schaumleffel and Charlotte Decker of Quitman, Arkansas.. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Flowers; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Flowers, Case Gerber and Carleigh Gerber; his son-in-law Ryan Gerber of Liberty; his siblings, Roger Harlan (Linda) and Leeann Martin (Kenneth); and his brother-in-law John Schaumleffel of Quitman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Liberty Church of the Nazarene (220 W High St, Liberty, IN 47353). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
