He is survived by: his wife Lora Scalf Lathery; his children, Tasha Ritter (Alyson), Abigail Lathery and Michael V. Lathery; his grandchildren, Dorothy Pettet, Sami Zaroui and Amira Zaroui; and his siblings, Pamela Bowling, Jewell Poe (Gene) and Allen Messer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
