He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Selma Hofer (Hertel) and Clyde Hofer; his wife Phyllis (McCashland); his daughters, Susan Keasling (Tim Pocatko) of Ashtabula, OH and Julie Abbott (Brad); his grandchildren, Ryan Abbott (Meagan), Megan Abbott and Kristin Keasling; and his cousin Kathryn Gage.
