With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Haney Vernon in Liberty, Indiana, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Haney and Hazel Haney; her husband Joe Vernon; and her brother-in-law Robert Fontana. She is survived by: her children, David of Peoria, Kathy Malpede (Jim) of Glen Ellyn, IL, Linda of Peoria and Gary (Sally) of Westport, MA.; her grandchildren, Will, Caroline, Charlie, Owen and Patrick; her sister-in-law Judy Fontana; and her pets, Buster, Bruno, Fiona, Stuart, Rocco and Winston. She is also survived by 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Peoria Rescue Mission for Victory Acres.
