He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. McAvene and Loraine French McAvene; and his brother Paul Douglas McAvene. He is survived by: his sister Pamela Davis (Tommy); his sister-in-law Stephanie McAvene; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy Tipton (Angie), Dereck Tipton (Courtney), Dustin Tipton (Allison), Mallory Helton (Travis), Melissa Davis, Zach Davis (Emma), Ashlie Painter (Patrick), Emmie Brewer (Josh) and Cassie Jamison (David). He is also survived by 14 great nieces and nephews.
