He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred D. Hampton, Sr. and Erma Morrison Hampton; and his brother Mike Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dunaway; his daughters, Lisa Thompson (Dewey) and Stephanie Hertel (Kevin); his grandchildren, Austin Hertel, Wesley Hertel, Dillion Thompson (Taylor) and Megan Thompson; and his great grandchild Lainey Thompson.
