He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse James and Mary Macklin (Bently); and his son Paul J. Macklin. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Macklin of Steward; his children, Greg Macklin (Sara), Jim Macklin (Chris) and Rebecca Fraley (Clay); his grandchildren, Nick Sudbury, Tamra Sanders (Shannon DeWitt), Matt Macklin (Jaclyn), Kyle Macklin (Markee), Nicole Myers (Cory) and Jason Macklin (Justine); his great grandchildren, Joleigh, Jasper, Porter, Veronica, Wilder, Brixlee, Jesse Dale, Isla, Wrenlee and Bridger; and his brother Robert Macklin (Patricia). He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, Steward United Methodist Church or you may plant a tree.
