Carol Sue McCashland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Sue McCashland of Liberty, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard "Jack" Elstro and Joan Loschiavo Elstro; and her nephew Michael Gregorash. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth McCashland; her children, Erin (Joshua Phenis), Colin Reynolds (Ellen), Sarah Lynch (Eric) and Levi McCashland (Jennifer); and her brothers, Howard John Elstro (Cris), Michael Elstro (Janet) and Timothy Elstro (Vicki). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home (310 N Main St, Liberty, IN 47353). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Bridget's Catholic Church (404 E Vine St, Liberty, IN 47353).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Friends of the Library at the Union County Public Library, reflecting her lifelong love of books and passion for reading and literacy.
