He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Anderson and Barbara Jean Davis Anderson; his mother-in-law Billie J. (Vivian Newton); and his niece Brandi Newton. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Newton; his son Brian K. Anderson; his granddaughter Addilyn R. Anderson; and his siblings, Susan Ray (Joe) and Michael Anderson (Becca). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
