He is survived by: his wife Vivian Lainhart Newton; his children, Teresa Harris (Rodney), Michelle Anderson (Brian) and Billie T. Newton (Mary Ann); his grandchildren, Kristi, Amber, Ashlee, Danielle, Brian and Rachel; and his brother-in-law Glen Moore.
