He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lauder Stuart and Cristy Washburn Stuart; and his siblings, William A., George Stuart, Jimmy Stuart, Catherine Conaway and Elnora Hopper.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Michele Stuart of Madison; his grandson Ethan Dominic Stuart of Madison; and his sister Jean Ritchie of Madison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
