He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew A. Rhodes and Margaret Qualter Rhodes; his sister Janet Roll; and his half-siblings, Hazel Stilwell, Edna Browning and Gene Ross.

He is survived by: his nephews, Fred Stilwell (Sandy) of Lexington, Indiana and David Roll (Sheila) of Brownstown, Indiana.
