He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Liter and Lois Jane Rowlett Liter; his father-in-law Ira McCutcheon; his brother Ronnie Liter; his parents-in-law, Ira Andrew and Nola Gosman McCutcheon; his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Liter and Ronnie "Butch" Barnes; and his great grandchildren, Mia and Chloe Motenko.
He is survived by: his wife Janice McCutcheon Liter of Lexington, Indiana; his sons, Dewayne Liter (Deanna) of Madison and Montane Liter (Lisa) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Bethany Hatfield (Matt), Amberly Cash (Ryan), Justin Motenko (Jen), Hunter Liter and Mitchell Liter; his great grandchildren, Oakley Hatfield, Levi Hatfield, Tucker Hatfield, Harlow Hatfield, Sawyer Cash, Ashlynn Cash and Colin Motenko; his siblings, Delbert Liter of Deputy, Indiana, Shirley Coffin (Darrell) of Milton and Sue Barnes of Milton, Kentucky; his aunts, Nellie Patterson and Jackie Hall; and his sister-in-law Jerry Watson (Warren) of Hanover, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
