It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jane Reed in Lexington, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Huth and Clara Huth. She is survived by: her children, Brian Reed (Jenny) and Rhonda Reed; her grandchildren, Christian Reed (Kenzie) and Emily Meyers (Levi); her great grandchildren, Weston and Bailey; her brother Richard Huth; her husband Ronald Lee Reed; and her siblings, Raymond, Gerald, Eugene Huth and Janet Huth. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that contributions in Mary's memory be made to St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church or St. Croix Hospice in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
