He was predeceased by: his parents, Marybelle McGuire Fennig and Herman Franklin Fennig; and his great grandchild Weston Bruce. He is survived by: his sons, Burl Tyler Fennig (Angie) of Lexington, Joshua Alden Fennig (Youngmi Woo) of Korea and Wesley Leif Fennig (Jessica) of Madison, Indiana; his close friend Elizabeth M. Gatewood of Madison, Indiana; his siblings, Karl Fennig (Jody) of Portland, Michael Fennig (Brenda) of Portland, Joseph Fennig (Kathy) of Portland, Indiana, Mary Gluff (Rick) of Muncie and Madeline Hays-Lewis of Texas; and also, Kyla Scott (Vernon) and Kaycee Buchanan (Jeremy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
