James Earl Smitley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Earl Smitley of Lexington, Indiana, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Wanda Davis Smitley and Kenneth Earl Smitley; his siblings, Melvin Ray Smitley, Kenneth Wayne Smitley, David Owen Smitley and Nancy Spivey; and his brother-in-law Louis.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Michele Sego Smitley of Lexington, Indiana; his son Zachary Smitley (Samantha) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Aaron, Alex, Allison, Bryson and Olivia; his siblings, Donna Smitley of Madison, Indiana and William Smitley of Hanover, Indiana; and his nieces and nephews, Beth Smitley, Jacob Lowry and Raina Lowry. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
