He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Combs and Sarah Jane Combs (Richie); and his siblings, Pauline Crawford, Wilma Gay, Addie Mae Mullins, Ruth Schryer, Shirley Stamper Mullins, Thelma Combs, Homer Combs, Charlie Combs and Monroe Combs.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon Combs (Liz) of Nicholasville, KY and Mandi Smith (David) of Scottsburg, IN; his grandchildren, William Combs, Paxton Smith, Ella Combs, Paisley Smith and Ruby Smith; and his siblings, Darlene McIntyre, Rolen Combs, Wade Combs, Wayne Combs, Gary Combs and James Combs.
