Edwin Claude Hardy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Claude Hardy of Lexington, Indiana, who passed away on December 30, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lela Beryl Sutherland Hardy and Claude Hilderbrandt Hardy; his wife Juanita Laverne Taylor Hardy; his brother-in-law William Doug Stanley; and his brother Colonel John N. Clapp.

He is survived by: his children, Brandt Hardy (Becky Aldridge) of Indianapolis, Dallas Hardy (Dawn) of Lexington, Indiana, Jonita Hardy of Lexington, Indiana and Arleen Hardy Smith (Lee) of Lexington, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jon Hardy, Jacob Hardy (Katiana), Alyssa Hardy Thomasson, Hannah Hardy (Matt Flora) and Dalton Hardy (Emma Foley); and his sister Janice M. Stanley of Lexington, Indiana. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, cousins.
