She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Miller and Lois Miller Rutherford (Walden); her spouse J. C. Roberts, Jr.; her stepfather Hugh Rutherford; her children, Pamela Kay Hawkins, Jennifer Dee Roberts and Randall Carl Roberts; her grandson Joshua Clayton Roberts; and her stepsisters, Irene Graham (William), Helen Strouse (William) and Genevieve Waggoner (Russell).
She is survived by: her daughter Karen J. Shelley of Lexington, Indiana; her grandchildren, Kevin J. Shelley (Wendy) of Burlington, Kayla Hawkins Porter (Alex) of Corydon and Randall Craig Roberts (Brittany) of Lexington, Indiana; and also Ida Rena Strouse of Bee Spring, Kentucky.. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
